About the journal
A quiet look at everyday finds
拾光岛 is a personal journal of useful things and the ordinary routines around them, written slowly from an everyday desk.
Why this journal exists
Notes from a lived-in desk
I started documenting the small, practical objects I reach for each morning because they quietly shape how a day unfolds. A kettle that boots quickly, a notebook that holds up to daily use, a lamp angled just right for afternoon reading. Writing about them with the routines they belong to makes more sense to me than listing features.
Every entry here is an honest note from long-term use in my own home. I photograph these things in the light they actually live in, without studio staging, so you can see where they fit, what they change, and what they leave alone.

On the desk
Real objects in soft window light, the way they look between uses.
